About our Logo

The Crown of Christ our King is indeed the crown of thorns, which is the most prominent feature of the logo. It is gold and brown interwoven to indicate that it is a crown of suffering and of glory. Within the crown of thorns is a baptismal pool, with ripples of water proceeding from the center. This suggests that a baptism is in progress, that the water is stirred up and living, and that it is through the suffering and glory of Jesus who wore this crown that we are saved in baptism. The “ripples” also suggest radio waves, which transmit the baptismal call to holiness and Christian action that mark a Catholic radio apostolate. The cross is at the core of this image because it is the power of the cross and Him who was crucified upon it that gives the reason for our joy and our mission to evangelize. The radio waves also appear to emanate from the cross, which is the apostolic mandate of St. Paul to preach Christ and him crucified.
